The fine print

Payment Options

• Cash, Debit Card or Credit Card
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express for pre-orders and walk-in sales.
  • We also accept cashier's and traveler's checks (payable to the University of Michigan), but not personal checks.
• Student Account Billing
  • Available in-store only for purchases over $50.
  • This option is not available for Flint or Dearborn students.
  • Charges will appear on your Student Statement of Account in either September or October (depending on your date of purchase).

Pre-orders

Online pre-ordering and shipping for Back to School have now closed. Please send email from your UMICH address to computer.showcase@umich.edu with any questions about a pre-order placed prior to 8/24.

Pick up 8/27-9/7 from the Michigan Union store. Orders not picked up by 6 p.m. on 9/7 will be cancelled.

If the student will not be the person picking up:
The student must send an authorization request ahead of time from his/her UMICH email account to computer.showcase@umich.edu, letting us know who will pick up the order (parent information).

Licensed software (including Microsoft Office) can only be released to students in-person because a signed licensing agreement is required.
