ALL returns (including returns of defective products) require a receipt. Returns can only be processed at the store where the sale took place.
Customers should save all packaging until it's determined that a product is working correctly
Defective products should be returned as quickly as possible (preferably within one week). Customers must inspect items upon receipt and report defects to Computer Showcase immediately.
Products purchased via payroll deduction are not returnable unless defective (see terms of contract)
Discontinued and select products (see below) are not returnable
Manufacturer warranties must be negotiated directly with the manufacturer. Please check the item product description for warranty information.
Unopened Product: may be returned within two weeks without penalty if packaging is intact and in "like new" condition
Opened Product: may be returned within two weeks if in "like new" condition and returned in original packaging with all discs and accessories.
"Like-new" means the complete product in the original carton with all equipment, packaging, warranties, manuals and accessories.
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Please note that most computers will cost a minimum of $100 to return.
Unopened Boxed Software: may be returned within two weeks without penalty if it is unopened (shrink-wrap intact and package in good condition)
Opened Boxed Software: is not returnable
Licensed Software (Microsoft, Adobe, SAS, SPSS and Matlab): is not returnable unless defective. Defective software can be replaced but not refunded. Adobe software must be returned directly to the manufacturer. The Adobe customer service number is 1-800-642-3623 or send e-mail to: custservice@adobe.studentlicensing.com.
Unopened iPods and Accessories: may be returned within two weeks without penalty if the factory seal is intact and in good condition
Most Opened Accessories: may be returned within two weeks as long as they are in "like new" condition and returned in original packaging with all accessories. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Most Opened iPods: may be returned within two weeks of purchase if you have original packaging and we can confirm that the unit is in good working order. We will deduct the standard 10% restocking fee or $29, whichever is greater, to cover the cost of the earphones. Unfortunately, we cannot resell earphones but you may keep them if you wish.
We don't know in advance when a vendor will change products or prices. Price protection is at the discretion of the vendor. When available, we will offer a refund (or other form of credit) to our customers; however, most of our products are not eligible for price protection and we are unable to fund refunds without vendor support.
We work hard to ensure our products are as affordable as possible and we regret those instances when we cannot refund a price drop retroactively.
